Jealous as fuck. Looks clean, but I need to see it in action. Only if you can keep up with me of course.

Was gonna get Brandons bolt on Mid-Travel kit, with D35 hubs, Uses the same arms for coilover LT kits but the arms are just capped where the coil buckets go. 4400 bucks installed and aligned.

Plans change often.

I'm not happy with the VDF kit and I wanted to convert the kit I have to horizontal uniball but I decided it would be a lot of work to do that and I would end up spending a lot of money and time versus just spending a little more money to start with. And since the rear is getting done I don't have time to mess with the front end right now so that was the simple solution

I'm curious what some other prerunner folks thoughts are on a Cummins 4bt swap in my ranger versus a 5.0 swap. I just think it would be very unique. Obviously the added weight is a problem but I could easily make torque with a 4bt than a 5.0 put of an explorer

For now yeah. I got a complete currie third member with 4.88 gears that is 31 spline. When I go full floater I'll do 35 spline or 40 spline.

I know someone selling 4.56 gears if you're interested. Priced to sell.

I'm good right now. I'm gonna try the 4.88s then if I don't like them I might end up going with a lower ratio like 5.13 or more.

I have 4.56 right now with 35s and the 4.0 and I'm pretty happy with it. I can squeal the tires in first and second. But my new axle has 5.29

I had 4.56s on my full size 8.8 with 35s and a 3.0 and it sucked lol it was super slow. But I'm picking up a 4.0 out of my friends 2011 ranger with 13xxx original miles.

I didn't know you picked up that motor on DR. He wanted to trade for the longest time because I wanted to buy that one. Score on that motor btw

Haha thanks. He's actually a really close friend. He had offered it to me before but never pulled the trigger until now

Not much, might help the bumper live if hit from behind at an angle

My main thought when putting them in was more contact between the bumper and rear crossmember, with focus on being tugged out of the sand lol.
