Re: Tail Light Mod
looks good buddy...to convert to led lights you will need a ep27 flasher relay for them to work properly...what part of GA do you live in?

I'm in swainsboro. It's where hwy 80 and Us 1 cross. I'm about an hour south of Augusta. I'll be honest with you. I don't really understand what adding a relay does. Or would do. Why couldn't you just replace the factory bulb with one of the led replacements?

Re: Tail Light Mod
The reason you use the special relay is because with the LED bulbs, the truck thinks that it has a bulb out in the back because the LEDs draw far less power, and as you know, your blinkers will flash fast due to this.

Re: Tail Light Mod
okay okay, that makes sense! So I would need to put this in place of the factory relay?

Indeed you would. You can find them online or at auto parts store. The store may not sell them under that specific code designation, but if you ask for the proper relay they should be able to help

Re: Tail Light Mod
Looks awesome. I love it leaving the reverse light clear like that, its how I did mine.
Tbh, I didn't notice any difference in brightness due to night shading them. All it did to mine was make it have a cool looking "glow". And besides I didn't do my third brake light, so thats still bright as usual.
