Put this off brand rack on the Ranger today... after a few hours of modding/rigging its mounts, I'm pretty happy with it.

Eh, not much of fan. It sticks up way to high. And seems useless since you have a truck IMO.

Yeah I think it is kinda high, but if he likes it and finds it useful, that ls what matters.
I plan on putting a rack on my topper and have lights on that.
I need all the extra storage space I can get for all my gear when I go atving and camping. I have my flatbed trailer with my 2 atvs, then I have my bed full of stuff from gas cans, coolers, tents, chairs, clothes, tools, and even more. So a roof rack on my topper to put and organize more stuff for long trips would be extremely useful.

I still want to know if it's the same one that I have seen at WalMart cuz it looks like it.

lol machine, that's cuz u like the "clean" look. Lol.
Nothing wrong with that at all.

The only thing I don't like is the roof rack the basket is on. I don't like the rack mounts on the cab, mainly if u have to drill holes in the cab, I would rather drill holes in my fiberglass topper and silicone it up. I couldn't bring myself to drill in my roof.

Then again either way u go, its still a pain to get things out of the basket, unless your like 7 feet tall.

Haha, it is indeed. It took me a few hours to install, mainly because I had to mod the mounts quite a bit in order to attach it to my roof (used self-tappers).

I'll try to get some better pictures tomorrow.

Sweet man, I saw that one at WalMart, and was like that's alot cheaper than the Yakima load warrior, lol. But I was afraid it would be like real bad quality and just a piece of junk tho.
I've been looking for a Yakima one on Craigslist, I've found 2, one 2 hours west of me and another 2 hours east of me. Both selling for like $150. I just don't have the money to buy it and pay for gas to go get it, lol. Plus now my motorcycle is down for a $200 repair job, so my money is going to that. Lol.

Yeah im interested in some better pics and some close up pics on how u mounted it.
Do u have an explorer rack?
I am going to get one of those from my local junk yard soon.

I got me a roof rack from a blazer, I want to see how u mounted that basket so I can figure out if it will work on my rack or not.
