I already have disassembled the trans. The only part damaged is the parking paw and sprocket it locks into. I guess its good the internet can tell me how to wheel. Does it give you instructions on how to drive down a gravel road in the rain?

I believe you know how I wheel and there are very few people on here that drive on anything rougher than a wet gravel road let alone really wheel.

I don't typically post on here. Especially not in these kinds of threads, but considering the sheer amount of bad advice you seem to give out in threads you quite honestly don't belong I have fun reminding people like you how little you know.

Yup in the junkyard they are presetup with chromo axles, 5.38's and lockers. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Man and them fancy factory disk brakes on the rear are boss hoss.

This is about rangers... not bronco's or f-150's

The same basic rule on axles applies to Broncos/f150's as it does to rangers. There isn't some mystical power that makes axles in rangers stronger.

That shaft isn't broken in the stronger birfield. The ears may have broken or more likely the shaft would have just failed at the hub splines like is typical with chromo 44 shafts. I have pictures of that one as well. Had to stop the entire trail ride to fix a jeep with a ford hp44 swap his shaft because it sheared. He has since swapped to rcv's as well. Weird.

Every time you post something else broke... was it the tire? t-case? torque convertor? snow? what? make up your mind.

So if I go out and drive my truck up a dry creekbed and fuck up the driveshaft you'll shut up?

No, but a ranger is lighter than a bronco or f150, common sense. Put a D60 under a dump truck on 30's and see how long it lasts.

So if the splines would have failed anyway, where did that "stronger" birfield get him? no where... exactly
One thing I'm wondering is since 44's suck so much... why do so many of your buddies you ride with have them? not like it cost any more for a 60 right? I mean that's what you said right?

I give up your right a d44 and 8.8 are the best axles for a ford ranger ever. D60's are dumb and mudding with big tires on stock axles is the best.
As for broken parts your the one that keeps quoting something I guessed was bad from over a year ago lol. My bad I will keep my thread more updated with exact parts breakage.

To hell with turtles I like redheads.
