Quote below is from your thread. When I said T-case I was referring to how you said the rear output spline was coming out.

If your transmission goes out just because you have a flat tire you have no business telling anyone how to build anything.

I don't care that you were in the truck, you could have been balls deep in your grandmas ass for all I care... the shit still happened on the FUCKING HIGHWAY

Front right tire looks fine, but is flat? Tcase is leaking and the front shaft removed itself from the flange somehow, rear shaft looks like the output spline is coming out of the tcase, transmission looks like it either belched fluid from the overflow or it is sad as well. No park or reverse right now.

In case you haven't noticed this isn't pirate4x4... however if you are going to talk shit about what I'm running I'm going to talk shit about what you're running, you brought it on yourself and you've made nothing but an ass out of yourself.

Now I'll make one last suggestion to you, go get a camera, a piece of lumber, a nail and a hammer.

Set up the camera to film you doing all this, drive the nail in the lumber, make sure at least 5" is sticking out (I'm sure you can measure... I've seen you do it... not accurately but still somewhat enough for this job), turn the lumber over (so the sharp part of the nail is facing you), now secure the lumber so it will not move, this last step is most important, line your forehead up with the nail and face fuck the shit out of that nail.

I was wrong on initial diagnoses. Something about crawling under a truck in well over a foot of snow. Trans jumped park park in paw engaged and the shift rail no longer lined up with the gears, but after dropping the pan and reseating the shift rail it shifted fine minus pull in out in 1/2. Technically if you want to be stupid about it it happened off highway in over a foot of snow. I have no idea what you want from the truck. Maybe we should take your 8.8 and 37's down a real trail and see what lasts.

I am not even going to respond to the rest of your crap. Looked like you just got pissed for being a mall crawling moron who has no real wheeling or fab experience that he hasn't read off the net.

My whiney posts??? Read yours moron. Who fucking cares what he does to his truck. He's not coming on here like bmv mike Telling everyone it's safe to run 35s on aftermarket keys and fully cranked and replacing 8 sets of cv joints is completely normal. I could see if he was recommending everyone to do the same but he's not Just get off his nuts already. Damn.

"Real fab experience". Wasn't your truck mostly built while you were deployed?

I'll skip the bullshit, it did not happen off the highway in a ft of snow... read your own post ya fuckin halfwit... you said you were driving and the RPMS climbed, a flat tire doesn't cause that, a ft of snow doesn't cause that... THE FUCKING TRANSMISSION DOES.

You sir are the one who started this by talking about my 8.8 axle, I'm not the one who swapped one tons under my truck just because I read on the internet that a D-30 and 8.8 is weak, did you ever break an axle shaft in the front or rear stock? with the D-30 and 8.8? D-60 front and rear?

if you answer no to any of those questions then YOU are the web wheeler who just believes what you read and never test out your own equipment to SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT IT CAN HANDLE AND WHAT IT CAN'T HANDLE.

When you come down here and run 37's on an 8.8 on the same trails I do and break it then you can say something about the 8.8, until then quit talking out of your ass.

Trans was fine when I put the pan on after a 6 month deployment with the shift rail reset. Drove it around houston a couple of days before tossing it on the trailer. If I had to guess rpm jump was the torque converter unlocking.

With 33's and a lunchbox locker I blew the d30 shafts at the ujoint like everyone else. D44's are weak there as well so it was d60 time. Wheeling up here doesn't play nicely with small axles. If that bothers you are makes one of the few trucks that wheels on here a web wheeler you most be what?

I also believe there is a post or two floating around with that truck out wheeling. Got any of your truck out of the driveway?

It might be enough for a mild build, but for the same money you can get the same clearance and way more strength in a 60u. hell a 9.75" isn't far off in ground clearance.

As for your references? People bitching about clearance issues on axles that have bad ground clearance...

Want a high clearance axle? Build a hi9 or shave a 60.
