Thought i'd post some updated pics of the ranger. Put new wheels/tires on it, added a pinstripe on side and hood, gibson dual outlet exhaust, tonneau cover, nerf bars, painted grill, fixed bad spot on pass side rear corner of bed, plastic on bumper replaced, and did the basic tune up on it since it was just ove 100k miles. I think she looks pretty good for a 10 yr old truck with 100k.

Thanks guys. The wheels are actually a knock from pep boys of the AR wheel. I don't off road the truck or anything and didn't want to spend alot on the truck. The stock wheels were looking really bad so just wanted to something cheap.

Are they Turbo 4's, or 5.0's?

Thanks. as far as engine goes in 80 and 81 they went to the 255 v8 in place of the 302. both of these cars are 255's with auto's. not my choice of drivetrain, but what they were built with. both cars are stock and mostly original. orange one has had one older repaint and the white one has had the black on bottom repainted once. other than that just normal replacement stuff over the years.

I'm sorry to hear about the 255's. They tried sticking those into the F-Series trucks from 1981-1982. They were problematic in the trucks, so they did away with them after just two years.

They're in really good shape for being nearly all original!
