Ouch! Sucks about your truck man. Glad you're ok. Last year i had the same problem with a deer and totaled my Mustang so bad that i should be dead. But if it wasn't for that, i wouldn't have my Ranger now. Every end brings a new beginning.

Yup. the suspense is killing me. I don't want to hear that it's totaled, but I wish they would hurry up and tell me something. I should hear from an adjuster tomorrow, so they can look at the truck, then they'll decide.

Damn, sorry 'bout the truck, glad you're OK. Must have taken a piece of driving to keep the shiny side up. I've never seen a rim torn up like that on a basically whole vehicle.

Wow dude, that's horrible. At least you were able to walk away.

x2. The idea of just running into something instead of moving is so much easier said then done.

Sucks John. I found out from Ben. I feel bad for ya....RIP DSG. You're alright and seem to be in good spirits about hte whole thing. What can you do now? Nothing but wait. Sucks. Glad your alright.

Question... Here in Oregon, if you hit a dog, the owner is ALWAYS at fault. Was this in your neighborhood? Maybe can trace to who the owner of the dog was?

Those were some good words earlier there Jay. I'm right there with ya man.

Honestly....it looks totally fixable and driveable in a weekend with almost no parts. But that's just looking at the pics. Spindles, brakes, wheels, and bodywork. There could be alot more I'm not seeing under that sheet metal unfortuantely.

No, it wasn't in my neighborhood, it was on a country highway away from any houses, and for all I know it might have been a stray or even a coyote. Didn't spend a whole lot of time studying the specimen.
