Default New Upgrades on the 83

Sorry but there will be a little whorage in this.

first I put in the red LED's in the headlights kinda gives it a mean look at night.

Representing

Also I did a little mudding, kinda wish I didn't because now my motor os really freakin dirty and it kinda used to look good IMO.

and a little more mud but I put on some 14 dollar side skirts

and lastly just a little something I threw on my truck

12000K HID's they work really good and I like having a first gen ranger with HID's like that. everyone I drive by probly thinks wtf. but the camera picked up the light as blue but they really have a little purple ting to them.

Looks good. I have been looking at HID's for the honda. If i'm not mistaken you headlights take a H4/9003 bulb? They make an H4 to D2S/D2R adapter with a cut off shield and everyone says they reduce glare a whole lot. I see that they are 12000K but where did you get them from are the hi/lo?

Looks great. So how do those red LED's work? Is it actually part of the headlight or did you add it yourself? I think it looks good...

On the light we got for my buddies S10 blazer they were part of the light. I think the intention for them is to be wired up like a DRL. My buddy put blue ones in his and has them wired up on a separate switch. They look awesome when has his headlights on and turns them on.

Well I just ordered an HID kit from ebay but the kit is an H4 plug up so I can put any bulb on there because they just go striaght to the ballast, I had 8000K bulbs but one of my friends gave me the 12000K because they put out more light and he didn't need them. there isn't any high and low beam but the 8000K bulbs I have came with it, its not like a real high/low beam its kinda dumb, theres just a mechanism is the light that actually pushes the bulb closer to the projector lense and the light doesn't get any brighter or higher it just looks like it changes lol.

Its just a hole in the back of the headlight housing and I have a red light with a rubber boot around it and it fits right in the back of the housing in that hole, but yes it came with the headlight, iv'e just been experimenting with colors.

Sweet. You're right about the "mean look". Really makes it look tough.
