So 8 years later. Hows the crew cab doing?

I sold it 6 years ago. I got a good offer for it. I still see it around, in very bad conditions. New owner seems to do little to no maintenance, it smokes and has 3 different brands of tires.

Oh that's great, glad you got something for before it got too bad. A curiosity can you tell me what something like that is roughly selling for nowadays in your area? Also where are you? I don't know if you posted it earlier, I just don't see it , and I'm not sure if I'm deciphering the abbreviations in your profile correctly. Is it Monterey Mexico?

I wish I spoke Spanish cuz then I could call around junk yards in Mexico and see if I can find a cab to buy for parts and have it shipped. Or if I had a friend that I could help me do it. I bet somebody can make some money being a broker for something like this. I bet I wouldn't be the only person interested.

Also we still don't have a crew cab compact Ranger pickup. The new Ranger is A bigger Midsize class. So yea, i think people would still be interisted in this.
If somebody had the capital to go down to Mexico and by like half a dozen of these bring them back and semi-restore them, there would be more than a few buyers, & they could make a tidy lil profit. Especially the way the used car market is today
