"The Rebel" plate

SO, i had this tag for a while, a Confederate flag w/ the confederate hat, it says "The Rebel". Decided to put it on, since i posted another thread about it and people were saying to do it, and some of them had confederate flags

People see it as me being racist, but that isnt the intent. Its on there because my brother bought it for me when he got back from Afghanistan and moved back home.

i shouldve gotten the one i saw when i was in myrtle beach a few months ago...it was similar to clintons but instead of the skull and crossbones it had a ford emblem

I carried a confederate flag in my high school binder for 3 years. Whenever I got shit about it, I pulled out a picture of the klan marching with American flags, and every single person that started shit gave up. I then ended it with "It's not about slavery, or else I wouldn't care to explain it to you. This flag to me represents state's rights to govern themselves, and individual freedom of the people." If you can't accept that, then you're not a true American.

Thanks man. People interpret things as they see it. I see it as the first gift for my new truck from my brother, other people have said they are offended by it. Some people believe by drinking spiked koolaid and croakin themselves, a 50 year comet will take them to a better place, I believe once you're dead, you're dead. So I guess its like a potato, potahto thing as far as opinions go on these sort of situation
