First I had it mounted here:

Then I got my center console and put it in there. It was a tight fit but I like it a lot better here. Doesn't get in the way of shifting and it looks kinda cool too:

My antenna is here:

And my PA speaker is right behind the bumper:

Sorry, these pictures were before the days of high resolution digital cameras and camera phones

This is my older '84 ranger, at least what was left of it after the little incident with some ice. CB, Scanner, and control panel in the crushed center console. Ham radio was under the dash. You can see it down there under the dash with the control head detached. It jettisoned on impact... You can see the ham radio antenna all bent over on the left side next to the hood. The ham antenna was on the left side in the back. The CB antenna was an 8ft 1/4 wave whip on the back bumper. I was able to salvage everything for reuse once we cut the rest of it apart with the jaws of life when I got out of the hospital.

This is my old '91 ranger with the ham radio remote head up by the vents and the scanner under the dash. Antenna for the scanner is on the front next to the hood on the left side. The ham radio antenna is on a bracket attached to the side of the tool box on the right side.

And here is my '03. Pictures are old and are before I removed the fire dept equipment when I moved last year. Motorola CDM1250 for the FD, ham radio, light and siren controller. No CB. Equipment all behind the seat in a custom covered box. The FD radio antenna was a 1/4 wave UHF on the roof. VHF/UHF ham antenna on right side of the hood. 900Mhz ham radio on the left side of the hood.

Just avoid the trees to avoid damage to the radios like I learned.
