Im just worried about when i get it, im going to have to trim my valance, and i dont really want to because the mazda ones are a bit harder to find.

yeah i've seen them on the rear mostly, but no different to put it on the front. its spring loaded so it stays in place when needed. some older cars had them covering the gas cap in the back
