Default Pics of Plow Rig. re-located plow mount
Well, after going from 205 to 245 tires, and a leveling kit in the front end, my truck is sitting about 6" higher than when I first mounted the plow onto it. The problem with the plow at such an angle is that when I turn the blade, the inside corner lifts off the ground about 5". This makes is difficult to plow because snow is always rolling off the sides as I have to plow straight. Doing this fix will allow me full turn on the plow and make clean up much quicker. I estimate I waste 10-15min at each job not being able to turn the plow. So I dropped the mount, borrowed my buddys stick welder and went to town. Now im not the best stick welder, as this is my 2nd time using this guy. Im more of a mig guy, so be gentle!

Yes it looks good but it would be fucking better if you could post all the damn pictures geez...lol I think 3 are saying they have been deleted.

Here are some pics with the plow back on. Before, the plow frame was at the lowest postition. It needs to go up now, but I have my adjustment back. No biggie Here is a pic of last winter, you can clearly see the steep angle of the plow. And some pics today. Still needs adjusting. I also have my plow shoes lowered all the way wich raises the plow about 2". It looks a lil extreme but its not. (at least I hope so, I aint cutting and re-welding again!! )

well, I cant shovel anymore, so its nice for my own drive. Then I also pick up alot of residential. Its just a lil something to help thru winter.

also, the mother inlaw lives up a long steep winding drive, and only has a van! And my dad has some property up north that needs to be cleaned out.

final adjusments made. Plow is perfect now. Turns flat both ways.

Them are some nasty ass welds but they look functional...not sure if I could do any better any more
