Again, never owned a low rider? (I'm asking). They are bags and trailing arms, not axle on springs. They do not go up and down they pivot past the center point it changes the geometry once it goes past TDC on the trailing arm. That's why you can't drive on the frame on a truck like this, it binds the universals. You have to raise back up to where you designed the truck to drive when you set the center point on the trailing arms pivot point. It's like a pendulum.

Meh, not explaining it further. Truck is done right. It looks nice. I used to work for a company that made pre-fabbed C-notches and stuff for low riders back when I was a kid so I have some experience around low riders. They are very specially built purpose driven trucks and the suspension changes are insane when it is designed to lay frame like this one. It's a lot of work for sure.

That's irrelevant to the question. I don't care if it is your preference or not, I'm seeing if you have any position to comment by having any knowledge about that you are talking about. That way I can help by telling you about the suspension trailing arm setup and other things you may not know about.

These things are a lot more complicated than a lift kit.

But the bottom line is, It's a hell of a truck for the price. I'd buy it just to resell it on ebay if I had the cash.

I have only had one lowered truck back in 1996, and it was NOWHERE near as complicated as this truck. It was an old 3/4 lowered setup where you don't have to do anything but drop it. Trucks like this one here have to completely rebuild everything to "lay frame". It's a lot easier to own a 4x4! I'd never go through the trouble to do all this guy did, that's why I'd like to buy it.

Paint alone is an easy $2k, switches, frame reworking, I mean....... huge investment there. Probably $20k.

no i'm saying they're not centered front to back. look at the rear wheel, it's spaced closer to the cab. front wheel is closer to the cab too.

if i find a pic of a ranger with a trailing arm conversion in the back I'll post it. When they are on the ground they are way past the center point and pendulum back in.

i don't care to see pictures of trailing arm contraptions on bagged trucks. i know what that shit looks like. the wheels on this yota are centered, it's not impossible to do! this truck lays frame too.

i was making an observation that the wheels are not centered in the wheel wells front to back, that's all. i'm entitled to my 2 cents on the issue and already said it's a deal. god forbid i like even spacing.

no, i was pointing out that it is possible to center the wheel in the wheel well. doesn't seem pointless to me, but neither does lowering a truck.

and FYI, the truck on the left is a nissan hard body, the yota is on the right with it's bed on and nothing from the rear suspension visible in the pics. way to make ASSumptions

Also, nto centered. Not sure what trailing arms would have to do with the a-arm setup up front as well? Maybe some kind of revolutionary system? In the front, there is no lateral movement, just vertical, and horizontal in regards to the suspension articulation, resulting in extremely cambered wheels at full drop.
