i am making my own "compartment" lol currently its a little zip toolbag but i hang it on the bolts that hold the toolbox to the bedrails lol idk how to make a compartment quite yet...

Totally man yeah I like customizing my own stuff to get more organized.

Have you tried welding some hooks in there to hold your bags?

id rather have a compartment than a bag. ive thought about (since my bolts are pretty long) getting a plate and screwing in some short eye bolts and putting those eyebolts over the current screws ..if that makes ANY sense? lol

tryna picture it haha I think I know what your sayin maybe you could bolt some hinges to a piece of steel about halfway through your box and so you can lift it up and down like a book to access the bottom if that makes any sense? lol ima draw it up and post it tellme if you think you would do it

it makes perfect sense cept the hinge is going the wrong way i need to close the "box" area on the top of the bedrail, not make a whole new compartment

haha still no pic man and yeah I thats how mine is the step on the bedrail is a compartment very usefull for the smaller and fuses and stuff

you could still use a hinge and a little steel flap to do that then just screw the hinge in then raise the flap to create that little box space on the rail step then sandwich the flap with two bolts on each side so it doesn't move back and forth
