Default Couple of Ranger pics.

I went fishing earlier (for cut throat trout) and it was pretty much a disaster. First cast, a few minutes and I had a fish on, but it snapped my line on my ultralight (4LBS test), so I switch to my medium action with 8LBS test, and in mid cast my leader flew off before it even touched the water. Since I didn't feel like tying another hook, I went ahead and called the 15 minutes of fishing a loss, and went for a drive. Only took like 5 pics, and these two were the best. I'll get more soon, but at least it's not the Chevy!

Definitely going to go back up there with one of the kayaks probably tomorrow. Any time I get out of cell service on a solo outing, I am happy

Sure! Probably won't be anything special, but I can, lol. I've never put them in the Ranger before, so I will be interested to see how I do load the one up. Loading them in the Chevy is interesting enough due to being a short box with another 2 feet cut off with my headache rack and tool box,

The camera does it justice, lol. She has a lot of crows feet, some cottage cheese thighs and some hair in some unexplained places, but she's old...

Really though, there are some spots of rust that are creeping up, a ton of gouges and scratches and of course the beautifully cracked windshield. I've got some ideas to hide most of it though, and eventually I'll replace the windshield, lol.

i havnt tried loading the kayaks w my toolbox on yet considering the fact that because i lay them on their sides and the kayaks do not EVEN touch the tailgate...i can move them back 2 feet and lay them on the tailgate but it makes tying them a little trickier lol i will probably always take the toolbox off when hauling kayaks

really old pic but you get the idea

I forgot to get a pic for ya Eric, but I loaded both of them up today and they will work with my tool box in, they will just hang out an extra 20 some inches on top of the already 5 extra feet (12 foot kayaks, lol). I was going to go tonight, but I think I'm headed up to the shooting range with my bow instead.

How did you strap them down? i found it to be harder to strap down 2 or one kayaks cuz they lay flat (that was before my fancy custom low anchor points)
