I can't in good conscious downgrade an XLT, especially with XLT options (chrome mainly) being non existent on the newer trucks. It's what made the 3rd gen great. If you didn't have chrome you had an XL.
well like others said, its your truck man, not mine

nope. looks dumb. Much in the same way it has been suggested the chrome strip breaks up the flow, so does the strip standing out brightly on the chrome. Sometimes the best thing to do is nothing. Grey is closer to chrome than red so it works.

I did take care of one thing as I was swapping my spare valence I painted red with my original one. There is always one thing that has bugged me about rangers.......... The front bumpers rarely ever line up properly so I fixed mine today by snugging it up and leveling it out.

Nice, very nice!

Pal, please let me know the exact distance (in millimiters, mm) drom the top side of the bumper to the lower side of the fender.

In summer I adjusted mine but I think I leveled it too close, and its making a squeaking!!!

If you're squeaking you need to go right to left, not up to down.

well, heres the deal; everytime i hit a bump on the road, I hear a squeaking noise (like metal-metal) comming from the fron end of the truck, on the left.

What do you mean with "you need to go right to left, not up to down"?????

You can adjust both ways. Assuming you have targeted the bumper as the noise, it would be rubbing left to right on the body guards in the sides if anything. That's something you'd have to know by inspecting.
