2wds with some sort of locker and good tires will surprise you, heck it even surprises me at times. Most always think my truck is 4wd until they only see the back tires spinning. Ain't gotta always blast through it either, though that is more fun!

I got stuck one too many times and have had to get triple A to come get me or my fiancee pulls me out with her Explore sport trac. But yes i keep it to the pavement and i do keep it insanely clean. To each there own.
