Did the headlight mod again. twice in one week!

only difference this time is that i bought them this way lol first set was fogging up on the inside and it wasn't condensation. It was oxidizing on the inside for some dumb ass reason so i got these off e-bay for under $100.00 out the door.

and pic of what was going on. new one on the left and old one on the right.

That's some ultra-fast oxidizing going on there! I can't really tell the difference between the two headlights though.

a little better pic. see the lower left side on the one on the right. Its all fogged up in there. and when i move the headlight around you can see it in front of the big chrome circle thing to. It just was bothering the crap out of me. And the one on the left still had the saran wrap on it to keep it from getting scratched.

haha i will never do a headlight mod again. I will take the lazy way out and buy them from here on out. i'm not good at baking plastic as you can see lol

hahahaha i still need to ship mine to stl to do them but i use the truck every day so its hard to send them when i need them

that would be tuff lol junk yard a set for the time being then resale them for a little profit. And STL is still offering that deal? hahaha

I never would have known but you can actually wax plastic. I would invest in doing that since those Ebay brand headlights tend to oxidize. I waxed my heads/tails the other day when I did a full-body wax and they feel sooo smooth lol.

i have this headlight cleaner that gets oxidation off the headlights. I use it every time i wash the truck. But i didn't want to bake them open again and plus they were all pitted up anyways. 10+ years of rocks and crap hitting them take a toll. So these should last "i hope" a long time also. I know a couple of people who run these and they look great still. Shane 4x4wanabe is one of them. i look at his pic and they still look brand new for being a couple years old.

lol our yards here never have rangers that are newer then 2000. I have only seen one at a tow yard once but wanted redic prices for everything.

its the same way here it sucks they wanted 90 bucks for a rear slider window
i got one from pooleo for 40 bucks and installing it tomorrow

Light are great, but now I am going to make fun of you and call you a COPY CATER, LOL yOU LIKE EM NEW LIKE ME, BUT YEA THE EBAY LIGHTS TEND TO OXIDIZE fast, keep them clean and waxed,

By the way, I am doing anyone headlights , if you don't have a set, send me the funds and I can get a pair and do them for you, send them to you fox when they are done. by the way, im pretty dam good at it too.
