Google finally updated their satellite pics of my area and I was able to find my trucks at work and at home. Pretty neat, these are from less than 2 months ago or so.

Wow. That's really neat.

Have you guys even seen the car they use to take the street view pics? I seen it last year in GR, it was one of those pt cruisers and had about a 5' pole with a 360* camera on it.

they havent updated my area in over a year

I remembered when google first launched that. I saw it and I happened to look at work. It showed are parking lot street view style. There was a guy out side working on his truck. I showed some guys at work. It ended up at the big boss and the guy was suspended for 3 days. They were able to pin point the time he was out there based on the shadow on the ground and other cars in the parking lot.

How often are the Google aerial shots updated, if at all?

the straight down shoot doesnt show my truck if its there cus our drive way is covered with trees and the street veiw is out of date cus it has my brothers ranger and no second drive way. no luck for me

i dont know. before my area was updated the pics were about 5 years old. maybe in bigger city area's they updated them more.

They have updated the satellite one of my house. Because our baseball field shows up. I just did it last summer. Red are the bases and yellow is the pitching rubber
