Clinton, what does your truck measure, from the top of the wheel arch to the ground, and from the door sill (step area where it says ranger) to the ground? If you would be so kind to measure for me

----------

Holy God!! Do you seriously only get 8mpg? why so crappy?

----------

Would the extra height account for all the mpg loss? 1-2mpg I can see, but closer to 6? damn

----------

Would the extra height account for all the mpg loss? 1-2mpg I can see, but closer to 6? Damn man, making me reconsider.

I dunno man. I saw a drop in mpg when I went to my duratracs from the factory 29s, and when I jump to 33s Im sure there will be another drop, but Im gonna be doing some head work, so it may balance out a bit with the extra torque.

----------

Clintons truck is wicked. And Clinton pisses 93octane so it's fine :P

I will measure the sills early next week for you once I get home from work. Height doesnt matter on mileage, tire size, speed and different variables do. I think I have to run my truck a bit more since I tuned it up to check the mpg's again. I haven't really driven it too much since gas prices went up.

Does the truck want to roll any more or less in the corners than it did before the double lift?

I never had any mishaps where I would drop a deuce thinking it would roll. I have taken it out on the highway at over 100mph and never had an issue. When it was just the suspension lift I felt alot of vibration from the tires in the cab. After I did the BL, it seemed like the spacers may have absorbed some of the vibration and it wasn't bad after that. Then I got the good year silent armors and its a real smooth ride

Clinton, the wife likes your truck. And because of the picture, again, thanks , she has agreed to let me double lift the truck, on the condition of I get nerf bars so she can still get in it.

Why not just jack the truck up with a jack and jackstands to get the idea in real life? Ive done it before trying to see where doubt lifted would put my truck. I likes it. Just measure from ground to the bottom of the fender, then add 3 for BL and jack the truck up to that point, and so on.
