Default Lets get some opinions in here

I built this light bar, and to be honest, Im not sure if I like it or not. It serves its purpose, but Im not sure if it is what I really wanted. Lets get some opinions.

To be 100% honest, I actually kinda like it, but it's your truck man.

I think I may like it better if I reshape the bar. The angle I cut doesnt match the bumper at all. Then again, if I paint the bumper black or Herculine it, I may like it a bit more. Im sure it will grow on me. But first things first; Bigger alternator. 4 big beams put one hell of a load on the system, too big of a load for my piddly oem alternator. I cant run anything else with those lights on. I may put an interrupt switch on the little ones so I can use the big ones independently of the others. And for the curious, it is wired into the factory fog light wiring so no bright switches or anything.

where? behind it? I left the back of the bar accessible because of how big of a mother it is to get to those bolts.

Eh, not sure how I would do it, again, it is for ease of access. It is big enough to slide a tappet wrench in there and hole the nut while the bolt is tightened from the bottom.

Yeah, I love the look, its kinda prerunner, but def an offroad setup. I play in the mud and trails on a weekly basis, so the light is needed. I ran just the little ones (Hella 500ff) for about a year, but my last trip involved almost smacking some debris on the side of the trail, so I added a few and have the 500s aimed off to the sides to give hugely improved shoulder lighting.

There are hundreds of miles of old coal mine roads, petroleum service roads, and back woods trails around here. Some of em are fairly maintained, others are seldom touched. Found one side trail that me and Chris went down and our trucks barely fit. I have scratches down the side of the truck from trees we were squeezing through. It was wild. 1 foot either way would have been bad, your choice of 15' ditch or lake.
