Default Rust proofing part 2 of a few

So yesterday was a beutifull day out so i decided to scrub the whole underside of my truck. Then today i used pro 15 on my frame and all the heavy rust. Heres some before and after pics. The next part will be using a ruberisor on the rest of the bottom and on the wheel wells.

----------

and in pics 4 and 5 that was like cement mix up ontop of the frame no clue how the past owner got that up there

They should have a nice even curve to them. But yours curve then there bulged at the middle. They must be getting weak or one of them is cracked.

should be something like this!

reference first pic...jackstands are on the axles...not the frame...thus odd looking leaf packs

dont matter either way, the weight is still on that point, with the wheels on the pressure is still put on the axle were the jack stand is.

it sho will!

An add-a-leaf will help also, the full length ones. I think those springs have had some good hard use, the overload is bent, there suppose to be straight!

This is on my summer to-do list for the truck. Ima take the bed off for it tho, and do the entire underside of the bed aswell. Along with new hangers and shackles, and possibly body lift at the same time. Looks good!

same here. I don't want what happened to my chevy, to happen to my ranger. lets just say i needed a donor frame for the chevy

When i undercoated my wheel wells i saw my drivers side rear shackle mount, its almost gone i have to pull the bed replace that and por15 EVERYTHING.
My gas tank strap broke through the cross member aswell due to the rust.
