He may be referring to the Edge trucks only having the Rear Slider if they were 4x4.

Mine came from a 99 single cab XLT.

Thanks! I've already used it twice now! I have great A/C now, but in 10 years that isn't guaranteed, so i'm prepared.

I've got a question for you. I replaced my rear window butyl tape seal last summer. I tightened all of the bolts really tight, and I still have a small gap between the weatherstripping and the cab. What did I do wrong?

Side note, Billy Mays was the shit.

Hmmm, do you remember what diameter butyl tape you used? Did you run the butyl tape around the bolts on the top side? Did you knead the butyl tape a little to make sure it was properly set? Did you fully clean the old stuff off of your cab and window?

I pulled the old stuff completely off, I used 3/8 butyl tape, I think. May have been 5/8. Followed FRF advice on the purchase.

If you used 5/8, then that may be your problem, I used 3/8 and even that required some kneeding. One thing Jazz didn't mention is the kneeding part and then once on the cab to push around the edges before tightening the nuts down.

How much would a professional sliding window install cost? Just curious.
