Default What I've been working on (painted dash)

Few pics of what I've been working on. Pretty happy with the outcome so far. Long way to go.

Comments/input/thoughts are welcome.

How many cans did it take you to do this? and did you remove any of the dash pieces or just tape them off in the truck?

I like it, great job man. I like the revers look with the silver gauge cluster. You thought about painting the radio bezel grey/silver? I think that would look sharp

Mhmm. Im going for the "if ford made the level 2 in 97 in a regular cab" look. lol Got the Alcoa's, seats, tow hooks front and rear comming, dash is being worked on, just gotta get 4.10's. But all in good time.

I've used 3 cans of black so far and one of grey. I pulled out what i could. Glove box, vents, cover where the airbag should be, cluster bezel, etc. The dash itself a painted in the truck. newspaper and painters tape are your friend. i did get a lil bit of overspary on my windshield tho. gotta take some paint thinner to that.

I did but I love the silver HVAC pannel and like the contrast of it with the black bezel. The vents up top are grey as well, so I think that would be too much.

Got some more done. Recovered the headliner today. Didnt really get a pic and its dark out now.

The hole in the door panel is the hole for the window crank. Its gonna get shaved when i get power windows.

Still need to do the back driver side corner piece, seat belt, get new carpet for the floor and figure out how to install the seats that started all this.
