CB/OHC/Bezal

Finally got some pics of my cb i got from my uncle, the OHC i got from Drew(05RangerEdge)(thanks again man!) that i painted yellow, and my bezal i pulled off and painted yellow to match the ohc. ohc was kinda difficult to install cus the bracket got bent or something becuase it wasnt going on the ohc anymore so we impervised and put a small piece of wood in the headliner and driled threw the ohc holes in the garage door compartment and held the back up like that and the front had a cut up lisense plate bent around the front lip of the headliner and screwed to the ohc. cb is just bolted threw the panel below the steerign wheel and love it there. got my antenna wire going down the door-seal and then all tucked into the kick panel and out the rear to reach the cb. i didnt push my radio in the bezal all the way so if i have to remove it i dont scratch it








Also my lower valence is back on

Looks good man! I think you need to pull your door pull section out and paint that too.

I agree with Richard, do something else with your power setup.

No, i'm talking about the black thing that the power switches are on. That big black piece needs to be yellow.

When I first read "yellow ohc & bezel" I thought it would look funky.... but then I saw the pics & it looks really good!



Only thing I'd change is the wiring for the CB... tap into the cig lighter wiring from behind the bezel, add a switch & fuse & hide all the wiring.

It will look less cumbersome & with no exposed wiring, you're less likely to have someone break into your truck to see what's plugged in.

ya might do that but im tired of all this wiring haha.

no i like my stock one cus it works and allready have ipod hook up so its perfect. and no one would wanna break in a steal it

Oh geez Pat, it's the black thing that you use to pull the door shut from inside. It's also the thing that the power switches are on. You know, like your power windows and locks? The black thing that those are on, PAINT IT! It's the thing in front of your vinyl armpad. The thing in front of the door panel armrest, etc.

arm rest type things....haha. ya i might but i seen people say they get all sticky and crap from being touched a lot. maybe

That sounds like a personal problem. And i'm not talking about the armrests, i'm talking about the black thing in front of the armrest. The black thing closest to the dash on the door panel.
