Yes, the adhesive backing is real forgiving. So it let's you adjust as needed. Didn't use any soapy water or anything.
I also like the switch I used for the a/c disable switch as it blends in well with the dash.

What is it for exactly just to turn the air off even with the dash switch off

Yes you have to pull it out for the a/c to work. Without that switch The a/c compressor comes on in all settings except floor & vent. With the 4.0L you probably dont notice the drag it puts on the engine while engauged. But with the 2.3 it feels like you lost about 20% of your HP.
So this winter when I need defrost I am able to run the defrost without the A/C compressor kicking on & robbing me of power & MPG.

I've been wondering if my AC was on when I had it on "windscreen", because I've been getting a lot of condensation on the outside when driving at night. How hard was the AC kill switch to do? I read the article, but I'm a noob. Something that looks dead easy from the pics might have me pulling out my hair from lack of experience.
