aren't the newer Sport Rangers (say an 08 or 09 for example) with white gauges?

Took me longer to find the switch I wanted to use & where I wanted to put it than the time to do the mod.

Cool. I'll probably get something neat off a PC modders site, it's all the same 12v DC kit. This one is too pricey, but I love those covered switches.... Comes of playing too many flight sims as a kid.

Actually, if I can find one with a red LED in it, I'm probably going to label it "Master Arm" Come to think of it, I should just mount two, as I want to add some extra lights.... They come in all sorts of colours!

Then again, I turn Hot Wheels cars into Mad Max-ian road warriors for shits and giggles (and wargaming).

nice work on the swithc. man, you have the "stockest" ranger ive ever seen! no cd player, no airbagcufoff switch, no nothing...lol you need to find a wrecked ranger ans get the stuff out of it!

i know alot of the level IIs came with black leather seats, id like to find one of the fx4s with the gray leather seats for mine!!

ya the 08 sports have white gauge clusters and green backlighting, looks really sick at night.
did a great job on the switchs snowball, i couldnt find the a/c disable switch till you pointed it out either.

The AC runs on defrost - that's one reason for this mod.

Edit: Although there are two reasons the AC is made to run on defrost:

- It keeps the compressor from sitting idle for a whole season or more
- The AC dries out the air to defogg/prevent fogging inside
