Jeremy --

First of all, your truck looks great!

You said you wanted to get some shots... of your truck in the rain. I quoted, below, the ones I like best out of that group. Here's some ideas to make them even better.

1. Get a decent telephoto lens, or a braver photographer (whichever is cheapest). Any of these shots would be better if the truck filled the frame. Cropping it, after the fact, just isn't the same.

2. Light. Almost any photograph on an overcast day is going to be dull and drab. This is especially true outside the 'golden period' (the first hour or so after sunrise, and the last hour or so before sunset).

Now, where are you going to find a wet, rainy parking lot with lots of sun for decent light, when you need it? ...well, it's difficult to mimic the sun, so wait for that to occur naturally, and bring your own 'rain' -- soak down the parking lot about a half-hour before the shoot, giving you plenty of puddles to drive through, lots of glossy, wet pavement, etc., then set up the camera in position, wait for the light, and start shooting! Give it a try, and see if you like the results!

I'm looking forward to seeing the results!

The truck is very nice. But these aren't really rolling shots though. More like snaps lol. You don't need much light. Bump your ISO up, and open up your aperture. The size of the photos you're posting don't require the cleanest resolution possible...
