are you in the country? get someone to help that has a tractor. Trust me I've been stuck way worse then that. But hey try not to worry about it, you'll get it out of there eventually.. Plus it's not like you purposely got stuck, so you probally won't get a ticket.

or just get someone with a big truck and some chain or rope, to pull you out.

when I got stuck, I was mudding. And my drivers side of my truck was in a deep creek.
I jumped out of my truck into bout 4 feet of water. But we got a farmer with a tractor to pull my truck out.

Hope you find someone to help you out though.

good luck man.

If you can jack the truck up and put some wood, logs, stones, anything. That will help things out too. Farm jacks are great for that.

this was my advice, lift the truck up from the back and put rocks or two buy fours under the tires until the rocks or two by fours don't sink anymore. make sure you make a path all the way out of that mire or you will get stuck again. You need to do this before the mud starts to dry or you will never be able to get the truck out.

you know what may work, Ive done this a few times...

Take some wood and put them in front of your rear tires. then drive off of it, if anything put a wood path all the way to the road, otherwise what also may work is taking pieces of carpet, or coats and putting them under ur tires.

If anything take ralk, and or that grass and make a trail and try driving on that.

My dad use to have a big sheet of plywood in my truck, that he put some grip tape on. When ever i got stuck I would put that under the tires, and get out.

haha, Thats same advise as I gave him.

^ he is right though, it does work most of the time if you do it right.

Its been said and I will say it again. NEVER use chain to recover a vehicle. It has it's uses but, not in pulling out a truck.

Invest in a good recovery strap or rope. Here is a link to a guy who makes recovery ropes.

My advice: The second you get traction on your way out keep on the gas. Every time ive gotten stuck its because i let off the gas thinking OH SHIT, im about to get stuck let me stop before i go too far and try to back out, then boom, sinkage. Some situations sure its better to not continue lol but a lot of the time youd be suprised what these trucks can power through.

Get a huge long stake and a sledge hammer and drive it deep down in the ground and get a comealong.

Or find a tractor or 4x4 truck with a winch.

Remember, put like a shirt over the chain to slow down the chain incase if it breaks or comes loose. It will save a life or a truck's windsheild.

Sorry to hear.

Or get alot of buddies......alot of beer....and tell them to push you out.

a shirt isnt going to stop a chain, a cable yes, but not a chain. never recover a vehicle with a chain, period. a good heavy recovery/ snatch strap is cheap so theres no reason to ever use a chain.

I don't know about all that, It would help if he had better tires though.

My truck is 2wd and I got further through this mud road then this big chevy 2500 4x4.

2wd rangers can get through a lot more then people think.

But 4x4 is the way to go haha.

I had our landlord come out with a tractor and pull me out USING a chain. but this chain was a very big and heavy chain made for towing plus its not like he yanked on the chain or anything just slow and steady the whole way. yes i know i need better tires but i got 2 free and got a deal on the other two and i needed new tires for winter ones i had were bald and one was a spare tire so it was either small tires with good tread or big tires with no tread. and here's an idea of how bald they were when it rained i had trouble getting the thing going at a traffic light even starting in second tires would just spin. and once i almost got stuck in the front yard on dry grass cause they were so bald. this mishap was my fault i should of known i'd get stuck but what u expect i'm a dumb teen who thinks nothing bad will ever happen to me lol. anyway truck is out and running just fine besides my engine ticking but its been doing that for awhile now. yes i changed the oil and it has a new serpitine belt as of 2 months ago. can't figure out why its ticking but it hasnt afffected it in anyway so i think it will be fine. thanks for all your advice and warnings and the little bit of critism lol
