Re: New Pics of the 88 Ranger
Inside
I always loved how my big trucks had the Eaton shift label on the dash sooooo i decided to make my own for the ranger
----------
Now hopefully by the end of summer i will have pics with the body work and paint done, im going to do the body work myself and have a shop paint it, then if they do a good job ill take my camaro there, sorry to say it like this guys but i rather the ranger (my DD) get a not so good paint job than my camaro

Re: New Pics of the 88 Ranger
nope im the unknown owner .......... i got it from an old man that had had it a while, so im prob the 3rd, only bad thing is he thought changing the oil every 3k was taking great care of it ..... yea the engine is clean as can be inside, but he had small leaks, bad shocks, bad sensors, bad exhaust, bad this bad that.
i have had it for about 6 months and its 300 times better than when i got it
----------
Here you go SHHHHHHHHH
Sorry Ford freinds but this is my true love LMAO ..... i have had it since i was 18, im only 27 now, but im the second owner

you do if you live below rustbelt, I just picked up 1993 Chevy 1500 Choo-Choo custom (body pkg. etc,) 205K miles, needs paint and valve guide seals, not a spot of rust. I have 2 1993 rangers and a 1984, all rust free. no salt on roads, no salt air, perfect area for old cars.

Re: New Pics of the 88 Ranger
Nice truck is great shape... got to love living somewhere they don't salt the hell outta the roads. Only chance of seeing something that nice here from 84 is a person who parked it in a garage every year from sept till may

Re: New Pics of the 88 Ranger
oh yea no road salt is the best........ i got the motorhome up north with snow and salt on the raod, when i got back i was under it with a pressure washer
i also spray off the truck underside (along with boat and trailer) when i get back with the boat, to get salt residue from the water off it

you dont need valve guide seals, thats chevys "pre-start-up lubercation" the puff of smoke when you fire it up ...... LMAO .... but really its an easy fix, but normaly does not leak enough through to even notice a drop of oil level in 3k
