Default Re: Lets see your Ranger loaded up!

Seeing all these packed rangers makes me feel a bit better, but quick question....Just how much can these little trucks handel? I will give you a scenario and if someone could quickly let me know if it is doable, that would be great...
Scenario:
I am moving from Rochester, MN to Tyler, TX and leaving next friday afternoon. I will have a 1978 xs1100 in the back and will be pulling a 6x12 Uhaul trailer full of household stuff...1 queen size matt/box and a futon...the rest will be boxes and clothes. Can my '03 4x4 edge handel this? Thanks!
And I will post pictures of it loaded down so I can join in the fun!!

About half a yard of gravel in the bed. Handled it very well.

Toyota 7MGTE, R154 transmission, driveshaft, and exhaust manifold/turbo/down pipe setup. The R154 alone is massive haha

Yea, the blue triton is my current boat. Needed something that could handle bigger waters and got rid of the flats boat.

It's been pretty good so far, have only owned it about 5 months now. The flats boat pictured above had a yamaha f115 and fell in love with it's oil free, top end, quitness (had an evinrude on the previous boat before her), and fuel economy but the yamaha just had no low end. The opti is a little louder and vibraty but man does it have a ton of low end torque. That flats boat was maxed out at 115 hp, had a stepped hull, and weighed nothing; the triton weighs almost twice as much and is a little "underpowered" but gets on plane much much faster than that flats boat due to the opti. I was a 4 stroke fanboy but you gotta love the 2 stroke power.

Man nothing sounds like a two stroke, we have a 90 Yamaha 3 cylinder and man, for being 20 something years old, still goes and sounds amazing! Wouldn't mind throwing a 90 merc four stroke on after the 2 dies, but would miss the sound forsure!

Boat still does 45mph with that 90, wish it had the 115 tho!

Don't flame lol, just pulled it like a quarter mile. Then met my friend with a superduty (plan from the start), and he pulled it home.

Sixteen foot trailers look a lot bigger empty, and it probably would have squatted as bad if I didn't have so cram the truck on to it. I think I was right at gross because the f150 was about 700 lbs lighter that I expected.

The short distance the ranger pulled it, it did it phenomenallly. I could barely feel it, and it stopped very well.

Oh and it wasn't bottomed out, I still had a couple of inches of travel.
