Finally fond the cap i wanted...only took 3 years to find one!!! 2012 Leer XL color matched, thule roof rack , even came with the key, instruction , install kit...everthing!!!

Exactly , even with the tinted windows , its very easy to back-up with that camper. Now i want a rack/system to hold my stuff back there...to be continued!

Still loving my cap, just wired up a 5 meter rgb led strip inside, a 1 meter cool white led strip on the rear window(shining down on the tailgate) and putting in some speakers

Where did you wired the third brake light on your camper ? I know im not in the ''electrical'' section of the forum but i thought the best place to ask is in the camper shell thread.

My truck already had wiring for a cap run into the box when i bought it, so it was just a quick splice and solder and away I went, seems like most around tap into brake lights

Normally is that easy, but or truck have the same ''power'' for the brake light and the flasher, so if i tap-it there , the third brake light will flash too! Some truck have a wire somewhere around the spare tire just for that but ranger dont seem to have that wire.

Splice into the 3rd brake light on the actual cab of the truck.
Or just completely butcher the tail light harness like whoever set up my trucks cap. And it still flashes, lol
