So here's some pics while I was building it, I removed both actuator to make both corner pieces but its easy to reinstall. I used alot of leftover wood pieces but its still fairly light and the door with the hinges is removable so you can still see through the rear cap window.

Got this red cap by trading some ranger seats for if
I have to take a pry bar or something and pull off the wood the older gentlemen had glued to the bottom of it, and then lay it flush with my bed and put new clamps on.
Also thinking of rhino lining it black or plastidip
Opinions?

Bed liner material will add unnecessary weight so keep that in mind. I know someones going to stand on a soap box and compare the weight gain and hit that technical tangent but Im just saying.

For a similar effect, Home depot/Lowes sells a paint that simulates the texture look and feel. Aprox $6.99 a can. I did my chrome bumpers and grill/trim with it and it came out rather nice. And yes, I've power washed it with no issues as of yet and I only added 2 coats.
