And if you let the glass go all the way up it turns into a ground light.

I'll take that sunkist while you're working on it.

Search amazon for "automotive fuse panel" or "ATO fuse panel" and you should find something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000N9...rds=fuse+panel
There are several styles and sizes to choose from. I have 3 of these style 10-gang fuse panels in my truck, and I will be adding a fourth 6-gang panel this weekend.
This specific fuse panel fits inside the RadioShack "project box", however they may be harder to come by these days. I'm sure other companies make small plastic boxes though. Here's a shot of my bed electrical set up:

I ran a 6ga wire from battery to the panel (fused after battery), and this powers my interior lights, rear flood lights, aux reverse lights, alley lights, a 12v outlet, secondary stereo, and there are slots open to accept more things as I install them. A relay bank for the external lights is housed in the box as well

I'll have to check lol
But got the Reds leds installed yesterday and bought a air mattress for the back. I've got to build a platform now.
I really wish I could afford the ez lift topper actuators...but $1,100 for a kit that raises your topper is a tish bit expensive for me lol. I'll post a linky. It's really cool and simple

Lovely Always nice to see wiring properly done.
I must admit one of my main wires I ran to the back of the ranger was an orange power cord from a sweeper. It was Free and had 3 wires. LOL

If you use a scissor lift style bracket with only one linear actuator for each sides, you could build it for less than 500. Like these, http://www.princessauto.com/en/detai...or/A-p8507840e and the remote controller, I can't find the controller with the lil remote but it usually go for $80

shit maybe less then $200. All I need is a 3 way switch and 2 actuators I could make the brackets. Hmmmm. Starting to think this topper was another way for me to spend money freely lol

I Gota get my topper painted before I do heavy mods to it. Speaking of which. I need to get a roof rack for the topper....but it's not as wide as a normal one. Could I cut down an explore roof rack? Or should I custom make one...?

I been using a Cherokee roof rack I got at the wreckyard, I had to trim the length of it but it was easy and 15$. Do you plan to carry anything heavy, I have an heavy ass canoe and I wouldnt use it again to carry it. If you plan to carry one I suggest you add something like extending pole on it like this one, that was plan but not high on the priorities right now.
