Plus your breaking the water tight seal that has already been established, don't know how technical it is, but I would pissed if my windows forever leaked afterwards. Again my 2 cents means diddly considering I haven't done it.
Are you talking the trim around the windows? I didn't consider any of that, I will take your 2 cents in to consideration. I really like my topper and don't want to ruin anything, plus it was kind of a b!tch to find because it's a stepside.

I was actually talking about the trim around the bottom, there is about an 8 inch section where my trim is coming off, I don't know if I should just pull that trim and get new or just glue that section back on if I decide to go ahead and paint it myself.

There is an aluminum back piece to my windows. I have pulled that off to replace the screen. Not sure what you are referencing.

Yours might not have it. I have trim running along the bottom of my topper.

Nope mine does. I was referring to the windows in most of that. Not sure on that stuff. Idk if it would hold paint or if your just supposed to order new trim.

I feel like white would be easy to match.

Aye I have a red and green light that I more or less threw in there because I had some leftover LED strips lying around. It serves a useful purpose as an interior dome light while I'm driving at night but I would love to get a better light that illuminates the entire cab instead of just the rear section.
