On the window of the shell? Yes I do. It took awhile, mostly waiting for good rainstorms but I have no leaks even at the tailgate.

So what is it called when you spend the night sleeping in the bed of your truck? Lol
Its called "truck camping" to differentiate it from the traditional camping with tents and such.

Lol, well I get your point with the trailer and I am on expeditionportal to, love that forum. I own a place on Vancouver Island even tho im in Edmonton and since I will be hitting the ferry with that rig I rather not have to pay surcharges if possible cause it sure aint cheap. Plus its fun to do something different.

Whatever gets you out of the house. I actually sleep better in the dirt to be honest.

What kind of mattress do you use?

What's everyone elses sleeping set up for they're truck? I might be driving out to AZ this year and I think id want something besides my backpacking mattress.

Btw, I don't consider sleeping on pine boughs, wrapped in a poncho liner roughing it, or macho. It feels like the natural thing to do. My fiance doesn't get it either sso I know I'm in the minority in this

----------

I wish expedition portal was easier to navigate on my phone. I may not consider living out of a vehicle "camping" per say but I have needed to do it before. Road trips, moving, visiting friends, etc and that site has a bunch of great ideas

I have a standard twin size air mattress and it fits perfectly between the wheel wells and front-back with the tailgate closed.

I used a futon mattress last sumer, I have a platform right over the wheel, next time Ill let the dog sleep in the cab tho cause she always go crazy with all the birds in the morning. But she sure kept me warm when I drove thru the rocky at night and couldnt find an open gas station, she literally jumped in my sleeping bag and slept at my feet hehe, love my dog.

Damn that purple lights look bright to me hehe, does it come with an 80's porn sound track. :P

I have an old cot that I cut the frame up a little and it sits into pipe flanges mounted on the wheel well. The top I just put a sheet of 1/2in plywood on it and then two layers of memory foam. This is all due to not having figured out what I want exactly and not wanting to spend the money on this at the moment. I am however considering a camp time roll a cot. I just need to make sure I can cut it down to 72" without ruining it. It only has legs on either side so it's application is perfect.
