I definitely say ditch the bungees. I think a ratchet strap or an adjustable strap. That's what I use. Also I used to keep everything towards the front but I tend to stop and help ppl a lot so I keep the gas tank towards the tailgate now.

How would you do this set up too? I will have 1 more gas can and the black andyellow box too.

If that side panel is a panel and not a window, I would suggest making a board or shelf at the mid point, the tote boxes and spare could fit underneath and leave you with an open top space for misc. cargo. Make sure the spare and gas cans are always accessible; last thing you want to do is have to unload your truck on the side of a highway to change a flat. Sort of like this:

Could also make a drawer or something under the shelf, even just another board with a handle, so you could pull the cargo out to you instead of having to reach and crawl in to get it. Just some ideas

Anyone know if my camper top would fit on a step side bed? My wife's ranger got messed up bad last weekend so I gotta put a new bed on it anyway, just figured I would get what I want while I can but I want my camper top to stay on it...

It's just not as wide at the rails
