Just watched it, but I guess since he sells them (as noted on the video) he won't wanna share more info... do you have more info yourself? Its pretty slick btw.

Nope sure don't. Looks like hydraulics through the bed caps maybe. I'm sure you could do something similar. Or just buy his kit and be done with it. My only concern is a good seal. I know if I popped my shell off I'd lose the seal I have and it would leak like no tomorrow.

I know nothing about the kit other than I saw that video a few years back and your post reminded me of it.

Yeah but I think they might be electric in this case, linear actuator stuff, after working on my seat bracket for my swap this week end Im trying to figure out a way to use the power seat motor with the screw and build my own instead of paying a $300 kit.

I feel like that's not going to supply enough energy. $300 isn't bad and you know it's going to work. Sometimes(based on failed projects) it's easier not to try and re invent the wheel.

Installed the same light I put in the can into the camper shell. I'll post a light output tonight.

Let me knw what you end up using to cover up the ugly-as-hell fiberglass interior of the shell hahaha

I was thinking of getting one of those folding 5' tables to mount to the inside next to the aluminum one (drop down bolts through the roof) but it wouldn't fit between the table and TV

Yeah I upgraded to a camp kitchen set up. Love the 5 foot tables but just not as useful
