Added a emergency pack to the cap today. Used a US army bag, has a folding flat shovel, pair of gloves and a first aid kit.

all packed up

Then used some wire to run though my newly mounted spare though the loops on the pack for an out of the way but accessible spot

...and since my truck likes to leak coolant..... due to a stripped bolt for the water pump.......(previous owner) slow leak.... i found a place to stash back up coolant. Loving the new mounting spot for my tire..... just keeps on giving...

I don't know how many of you guys have on board air but here is my question, i have an 880 watt cobra inverter. If I buy an air compressor that draws 1.6 amps that means 192 watts correct? which means that my inverter is good correct? sorry still learning stuff.

Or you could just buy an air tank and a 12v dc compressor. A 5 gal tank is about $70 and the compressor is about $150

Your math seems correct but like sole said you can build a 12 volt air system for about 200-250 depending on what you want to do

Alright so then if I'm basically just wanting something to air down tires and re inflate then a good compressor would do the trick? this is the one i was looking at.

If you want it to take a weeks to 10 days yea go go for it but if you get the set up I suggested you could also change a tire on the side of the road in half the time

Alright didn't get a chance to paint it so its not mounted but I did put some connectors on it just to see how it looked. It can be placed on an off position or an on position. If I keep it on it works just like the factory light(comes on when the doors open, unlock, etc.) If you turn it one direction, it will be white LEDs. If you twist it additionally it will dim it down. Twist it again and it will brighten again. This is full blast. Attachment 62753 Attachment 62752 This is dimmed. Hard to see but still good light. Attachment 62756 If you turn it over to the other side it will be red. And then the same dimming effect. Attachment 62757 Attachment 62757 Let me know what you guys think.

New light. I have no headliner, so I have been shopping and finally found this one.

Alrighty couple of updates. First here is the pictures of the new dome light. I love this thing. Mounts up perfectly and is the perfect size and super functional.

Next. I had existing wires from the old kc lights ran, I used one line for the lights on the back and today I decided to toss a similar set on side of the camper shell. So I mounted and wired those up today as well.

Next I took the fire extinguisher off the ceiling of the camper shell and relocated it to where the speaker used to be.

image-1923052610.jpg

Next I took a strip of aluminum that has been laying around and riveted that to the ceiling of the camper shell like the other straps, then bought some new Velcro straps from west marine (used some for the extinguisher too) and strapped the bike pump and shovel onto those.

Last I scored another water proof box from base today and I put my tool bag in there.

Tell me what ya'll think.
