I still have and use both of my jump seats even with my box.
I made mine drawers so I could get my stuff even if there was cargo in the back seat, and I let gravity hold the box in place instead of bolting to the seat mounts. I recently replaced the full length piano hinge with one big fence hinge, then pressed out the hinge pin and found a bolt that slips in. Now I can pull the bolt and disassemble the 3 pieces, allowing me to remove the whole thing in a minute when I got 4 people in the cab. Which is more often than you'd think haha
Not sure how it would work with the sub on one side tho..

Re: Rangers With Camper Shells/Topper Thread
Haven't been on the site in a while. Just picked up this topper for $100. Paint is OK. Glass is great all the way around, side sliders, and a locking rear window w/ keys. Good deal.
Was going to paint it immediately but I think the gray kind of accents the trim. It's growing on me. Have some future plans, just deciding where to go. Want to work on getting a rack and basket next. Also thinking about bed lining the rockers, painting all the trim pieces black and then color matching the topper.
Planning on mounting some KC Slimlites in front of the grille tomorrow. The mounting bolts are too long, though. I may have to shim the hell out of them.
Any input on the general direction of the truck is welcomed!

Re: Rangers With Camper Shells/Topper Thread
Does anyone else here have an issue with the hatch rubbing off the paint? Trying to decide how to fix this issue. Torn between getting some 3m reflective tape (red) and putting there, or using bed liner down to the body line on the top of the gate... thoughts?

I put the same one sided padding tape that i put in between my cap and bedrails and put it on the inside of the back flip up window.

Grip tape from Home Depot. That's what I used.
