And the only reason I put a rug in mine is because I bought an area rug to cut up for my cab storage box and center console and I needed somewhere to keep the leftover rug until I finished them. So into the bed it went and I ended up liking the look and its a lot easier on the knees than the ridges of the bed liner. I've got D rings bolted to the floor in the 4 corners so a rug that wraps around the wheel wells wouldn't work for me, but it does sound nice!

lol yeah the build thread got stuck near the top when the truck was stock and dirty from the previous owner.
i went out and snapped a pic of what i've got to keep my junk organized for now, really works great and keeps everything right where i know where it is. i'm thinking about adding one of those cheap wally-world gun racks to the passenger side window to hang stuff on, and clamps for the shovel on the drivers side.

yep i'd like something like that, only inside the cap so my shovel won't up and walk away, lol.

Re: Rangers With Camper Shells/Topper Thread
Your fenders! They are so FLAT! Why not mount your toolbox up there?
Also I like the half plywood floor to keep the messy stuff on haha .. I got one of those mudroom boot trays in the back of mine for the same reason

yeah i really like the flat fenders back there, i've used 'em as a spot to sit and also as a mini-table quite a few times. i've thought of making kinda a storage box / shelf that would extend from the top of the fender up to the front of the bed and up as high as the bedrail, with probibly 2 1/2 shelves on it to store things on.
and the plywood floor really comes in handy, that was actually something my grandfather made up for the truck, like the carpet i've got under it it's cut to fit around the wheelwells so it won't slide around. works great when i'm hauling my chainsaws & logging supplies around on the weekend, and the 2x4 in the slots in the bedliner keep everything from shifting up out of reach. it also doubles as something somewhat clean and dry to lay / kneel on if i need to crawl under the truck or change a flat tire.
