I haven't seen any old aluminum toppers so here's mine. It's not pretty but light enough for me to handle alone.

That looks good on an old school Ranger. I don't think it could be pulled off on a newer one though. Aluminum caps are too square to go with the rounded edges a newr Ranger has.

No, it's from a steppie Ranger. The guy I originally got it from, bought it brand new for his steppie.

Another recent shot. It finally snowed here, so I went wheeling. Obstacles are very different with a little snow on the ground.

Yeah definatly. I really want to invest in some extra back up lights. It gets pretty hard to see backing up at night some times.

Tyler, that's a nice truck. Do you have inside pics of the cap where the rack is mounted? Did you use plates to distribute the weight? Also, did you just put a Yakima rack for the bikes attached to the gmc jimmy rack? I have a rack & this is my next mod to the cap. Thanks.

Yeah I just used the jimmy rack for its siderails and found the yakima set up on craigslist for $250. It came off a gmc jimmy so it fit perfect.
I can snap some pics of the underside. I just used 1/2 bolts and fender washers. I considered plates but i decieded they werent needed. I can stand on the ground and rock the whole truck with that set up. doesnt even phase it. that gmc rack fits damn near perfect though.
