It looks like your rig is definitely more made for slow stuff but just a word of warning you will snap the explorer roof rack if you beat on the truck which can be pretty dangerous with a giant 35" tire up there. Ask me how I know.

Question for you guys with toppers! Has anybody noticed a difference in gas mileage with their toppers? Obviously the weights of each topper differs. Also, how much "drop" does an ARE topper do to the back in terms of measurement? Does the rear sag .5", 1", 2", etc?? Just curious as I'm thinking about joining the club and am curious as how this will affect fuel economy and ride height

I did not notice a drop. Then again I have f250 rear springs. Fuel mpg increased when added. Do it. Mine comes on off quite a bit can even do it solo. Though mine not color matched so scraces not a worry

yeah I've heard of weight in the back increasing mpg. How about ride quality? Especially you with 250 springs. I'm putting in 2" add a leafs in and I know it's gonna be a tad stiffer

The added weight help remove some of the stiffness in the rear suspension but still no Cady. I was able to take my mini slide out rig to Jasper this week end. Ruby slept on her side, birds gets her crazy in the morning. Still a few lil things to workout but damn it was comfy.

The weight does help the ride. Better when I'm towing.
As far as mpg, not the weight that helps, it helps on the arrowdinmic side
