Cool, something that might interest you than. I picked up this thing to add 2 pairs (in & out) of connections for speaker inside the cap since my deck has bluetooth. I plan to use it with the rear speaker inside turn the front speaker off when you park select which speaker pairs you wanna use. Also I might sound like a knob here but I found out you can invert the screen on a laptop so I plan to add a slide/rail on the ceiling of the topper to install it upside down.

So it's a speaker selector. I'll have to take s pic of the rear of my deck. Id like to be able to have that where I can select the rear speakers. How do you have it hooked up. Lol simple version please and i haven't looked into the laptop thing yet. But I will

I havent hooked it up yet but Id use the rear cables that split behind the cap, splice em attach and to that thing and option A back to the rear speakers. Hook the box to the rear cab wall pass some wires to the back for option b & c and fade the speaker all the way to rear on your deck when you park... Et voila. I already have a deep cycle battery for power so shouldn't be an issue for a weekend with a controller to turn off the deck.. Only issue for me is I might have to leave the key in the ignition but Ill rewire the deck possibly

Not entirely sure a laptop will like being upside down, but neat idea lol

Oh and the eBay color changing lights are very cool at first but after a while white becomes gay pride mode haha

Guess will find out, its and old asus with a 17 inch screen but I switch to a ssd... 7 years old and still serve me well. Yeah im cool with normal white light, I keep the coloured ones for work hehe.

Haha yes after sitting in the cap over the summer the LEDs got all messed up, so only certain colors work in certain LEDs, so when I select "WHITE" a random assortment of colors turns on and it's just a rainbow back there

get good wide and tall weather stripping and stick it to the bottom of the cap. Make sure it gets a good seal

Can't seem to find the picture of them in here. You guys wana post up your pics of power boxs? I'm starting to design this topper build.

Here's what I have so far.

Explorer roof bars.
Roof basket.
Solar panel.
Removable box/platform for storage underneith with bed on top.
Led strips will go on after i tint the windows. Gona have a buddy help me with that since he's already done his topper.

I've still Gota finish reading this thread again
