Old pictures of my previous Ranger (1987)
Sorry but these were taken with my HD video camera. It makes great video..but not very good still pictures. And worse yet these are 2 pictures taken of 2 pictures mounted in frames. Both taken about 18 years ago. But they were great for the time due to content. One shows my deceased 87 Ranger at an abandoned farmhouse. A few years later that farmhouse was totally removed/destroyed..still had the 87 though. The other was quickly taken at 'African Lion Safari' when a large Tiger jumped into the box...heavy enough to feel the truck suddenly had a large load...seemed cool for an instant...then it bit the trim around the rear window..picture taken then... it pulled out the chrome strip in the rubber trim and left a slice in the rubber...a warden honked his horn and the Tiger quickly left. My then 2 year old daughter..Robin..was in the passenger seat (in a baby/little kids seat-thing) inches away from the large cat. She didn't see this or know it happened until I had the pictures developed. I was proud of the slice in the rear window trim for the rest of the time I drove that truck...until Feb.2002 when the new Ranger arrived. I think some may have thought I was full of shit when I pointed it out and said a Tiger did it.
