Default The making of a baby "lightning"

I wanted a splash about 14 years ago, but due to needing the room for kids and such, I never got one. As my kids got older and got their license, I didn't need the SUV anymore, so I got a 2002 lightning to fill my truck itch (and it looked good beside my 03 cobra convetible).
Now I find myself still wanting the truck that got away. I recently came across a great deal on a 96 ranger, stepside. Now I will try to receate the toy that I missed.
I also figured the lightning would like a little brother.

The show trucks on Spike did this with a 99 b2500 recently. They put a 4.6 DOHC into it. I guess they had an issue with the engine, so they are going to put another one in and supercharge it. Good shit! You should look the show up, full episodes up on their website. It seemed like an easy swap.

I LOVE my Splash !!!! I dont think i will ever get rid of it. I recently been up a side of a mountain with it and crawling through the trails in the woods and not once did it fail me.
Damn fine truck if I may say so myself.
