I think that's the same one I have...
The front is a metal film that goes all the way around to the sides/back of the black part...

As soon as I have time, I plan to see how or if I can paint the background color.

Most of the oval emblems will have 2 threaded posts coming out the back of the mounting base. Just remove the 2 nuts & the emblem should pop right off the grille.

Some newer styles have clips that need to be spread apart/wiggled out of place... I haven't ran into those, but the 2 mounting post style should work after drilling a couple holes in the grille behind the oval.

The only reason why I did that to them was because when they were stock, the color wasn't really even red to me, it was more of like a red-orange and I just wanted to darken them up a bit. But hell, I've got so many compliments on them it's insane, lol.

yeah like in your avatar, they look pretty dark. i like them. they're just so much cleaner than the 01's.. and at times, they look pretty dark. i like them. lots. haha.

they are stock 2010 head lights with the head light mod done to them.

Now I'm completely done with what i wanted to finish this weekend. minus the blinker mod. Today i had a package from Buggman waiting for me.

About 10 minutes later i had this to cap off the front end of my truck.
