It's a Delta Champion Compact Deep box. I hate the double notch but whatever...I've grown to like it and it makes a perfect place for my fabbed strap boxes and spare oil box.

In the first post there's an attached image. LOL!!!! That's actually a normal compact truck box that would fit a styleside/fleetside properly......but it's mounted on a steppie rails by the BOTTOM of the box!! LOL.

Good lookin truck, I'd show it off too.

Yeah, the image I posted is a truck for sale here in AZ. I saw that box way up in the air I thought no way would I have a box like that, then reaized it had to be wrong box for the truck.

How hight does it block the rear window, as my wife drives the truck every now and then?

and how do you guys keep the stuff inside the box in one spot while off roading?

1: my box isn't the tallest out there and isn't the shortest, but if I make my back more vertical, I can see the tailgate behind the box in my windscreen rear view. If blind spot is of concern....don't let it. It's pretty much a non-issue unless you're under 5'.

2: I have fabricated sheet metal boxes bolted to the sides that hold my ratchet straps and tug strap. In short, you let everything slide around like crazy and don't worry about it. lol.

No it's not. It's not wide enough to be a full size box. If it were a full size box, the entire box would be wider than the entire cab. Hell I'll go out on a limb and say the side mirrors may be deemed useless because of the box width if it were fullsize. What's in the OP attachment is a Delta low-profile compact truck box. aka IS made for a Ranger sized rig, but not the stepsides. Has double notches just like my box does. It's bolted to the bedrails via the bottom notch.

either way, whoever would put that box on their truck is a tool anyway. Can you imagine when they stepped back to look at it when they put it on?
"Yeah man, that looks great."
"I know, Joe. I wish I'd thought of it first....lucky!"

I love my toolbox. I'm about 5'6" and can see the top of my tailgate in my rearview mirrow. Your wife shouldn't have any issues seeing out the back, and it doesn't affect my blind spot.
No problems with shit moving around in it either, although mine is pretty packed with my work bag, small toolkit, blanket, winter work jacket and the usual small things that end up back there.
