Re: pics of your old cars or trucks
First car was a 1978 El Camino SS(with the 350 and not the 305) with PB,PD,PW,AC,tilt steering, cruise and all the bell and whistles with 40k miles on the clock. Got it in 2003 from my father(It was his first car too) and it is still my daily driver. It now has 90K miles on it and shows no signs of stopping. Just wish i got a little better gas mileage. I squeeze maybe 15 MPG highway no AC if i'm lucky.
A 1988 s-10 with the iron duke and a 5 speed is my main work truck. I'm not very fond of this truck but my father alone put over 200,000 miles on the 4 banger and it is still running. Bought it for 500$ so what can you expect?
My weekend cruiser is a 1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk with the 289 cu. in. V8 with 98K original miles. Just picked this up a few months ago from an elderly gentlemen who can't drive anymore due to declining physical health. It does need some work on the interior but has a nice nice paint job. The carpet is wearing thin on the inside since it is original carpet.
The only picture i have of these is my El Camino i took a short time ago because i just recently got a new computer and none of my old pictures are on here yet. Still delaying having to transfer that many files over to my new computer. You guys make think it is strange that i don't actually own a ford ranger and have joined the site, but I've always been a sucker for compact pickups. My best friend in high school had a nice low mileage mint 1985 blue and white single cab long bed. I always admired it and have wanted a ranger ever since. Even the new rangers look great unlike the new plastic clad trucks. If i could find a decent one for under 4 grand i would jump on it and use it for my farm truck.
